SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2009

11 BARNHARDT CIRCLE IN HISTORIC FORT OGLETHORPE, GA

Do you have an old photograph of Fort Oglethorpe Post?  If so, the PCA needs your help.
We are looking for old photos to add to our archives and are hosting the first annual Photo Day at the Post.

If you have a photo you would like to share, your photo will be gently scanned while you wait.  Each participant will receive a free mini photo album which includes copies of some of our favorite photos.

We hope to see you there!

LANDSCAPE RESTORATION PROJECT

WILLOW OAK
LANDSCAPE RESTORATION PROJECT

Landscape restoration is beneficial to the quality of entire Fort Oglethorpe Historic District.

Approximately one hundred years ago, Willow Oak Trees stood majestically around Johston Parade Field.  Today only a few trees remain.  Through the years, many have been lost due to storms or simply to age.

The PCA  needs your help in replacing these trees!

Each year our goal is to replant 5 trees around the perimeter of Barnhardt Circle.

If you have any questions, please call Radonna Parrish at (706) 866-6717.
